How to add a sailing map to your blog

If you keep a sailing blog, the map should live in it. Bosco gives every public voyage an embeddable widget: your exact route, stopovers, and stats in an iframe that keeps itself up to date.

  1. 1

    Make your voyage public

The widget shows exactly what the public page shows — flip the visibility switch in the voyage settings.

  2. 2

    Copy the embed code

On your voyage page, open the share menu and choose Embed. Copy the iframe snippet.

  3. 3

    Paste it into your blog

Works anywhere HTML is allowed: WordPress (custom HTML block), Ghost, Squarespace, static sites. The widget resizes to its container.

  4. 4

    It stays current

Import a new leg and the embedded map updates by itself — your blog always shows the voyage as it stands.
