How to share your sailing trip with family

"We're in Cascais now" doesn't tell the story. One link that shows the whole line — where you beat upwind, where you hid from weather, where you are today — does.

  1. 1

    Export your track

From Navionics, your chartplotter, or any app that records where you sail. Two minutes — see our per-device guides.

  2. 2

    Import it into Bosco

Create a voyage, import the GPX. Ports of call are detected and named automatically; photos can be placed where you took them.

  3. 3

    Make the voyage public

One switch in the voyage settings. You get a link like sailbosco.com/you/your-voyage that anyone can open — no account, no app.

  4. 4

    For a voyage still underway

Import your planned route too: the page shows the miles left to go, and can display the boat's live AIS position. Family checks the link instead of texting 'where are you?'.
